What “verified” means here
The production validator enforces these rules during every build. A record that breaks them stops deployment instead of silently entering the calculator.
Canadian source matches Canadian vehicle
The manufacturer source jurisdiction and model year must match the represented configuration.
Configuration requirements stay attached
Engine, drivetrain, cab, wheelbase, axle and required towing packages remain part of the profile when the source makes them relevant.
Vehicle-specific values stay vehicle-specific
A brochure maximum payload is not substituted for the carrying-capacity label on an individual truck, and curb weight is not treated as loaded scale weight.
A missing year is intentional until proven otherwise.
Some manufacturer archives are incomplete, internally inconsistent or only expose U.S. ratings. TowGauge would rather show a visible gap than publish a number we cannot defend for the Canadian configuration.
